Donating to the Department of Animal Science helps us maintain and enrich our programs. Our department strives to provide knowledge for our changing world. Donations are used to support fellowships and scholarships, outreach programs, special research, and activities that enhance the learning experiences of our students. Your gifts, in any amount, truly make a difference for our students, faculty and staff.
Several giving opportunities are available within the Department of Animal Science (see Animal Science Funds). Please take a moment to look through the list of giving possibilities below. If you see a fund to which you are compelled to donate, make note of the fund name or number for use at the University of Minnesota Foundation Giving site where you can select from an abbreviated list of Animal Science funds or enter a fund number (or indicate what you'd like to support) in the "Other" box.
Contributions made through the University of Minnesota Foundation are tax deductible and gifts may be made as a multi-year pledge or on an annual basis. Be sure to specify a fund and mention the Department of Animal Science when making a contribution. This ensures that your gift is properly received.
